Commissions

Hello and  thank you for considering me to capture your memories!  I strive to offer the best quality materials and craftsmanship for my collectors through my extensive knowledge of archival art supplies as well as decades worth of developed skill.

With that in mind, I can only produce work  equal to  the reference photos you provide. While well lit and in focus photos are ideal and preferred, I know that isn't always an option in the case of memorial pieces. I do love a good challenge though, so please don't feel you need professional quality photos in order to have a special piece of custom art work. My style is very detailed and based on realism, I’m happy to work with poorer quality images if absolutely necessary, but please be aware that I won’t be able to create highly detailed portraits from unclear photos. Together we can create beautiful art through open responsive dialog and collaboration regarding details, shading and colors.

Below you will find answers to some frequently asked questions. If you have a question that isn't addressed below, please don't hesitate to drop me an email!

Q: How do I contact you and what is the process for a commission?

A There are tons of contact buttons throughout the site, as well as a handy form at the bottom of this one. Use that to contact me to discuss your commission details ie; pricing, deposits, photos etc.

Q: What materials do you use? Do you offer pieces on canvas?

A: I offer works on high quality, heavy weight paper only.  All pieces are done in graphite, archival quality colored pencils and/ or professional quality watercolors.

Q: Can you do more than 1 pet and do they need to be in the same photos?

A: Yes! Multiple subjects are available on sizes 11x14 or larger only, and no they don’t need to be in the same photo reference.

Q: Do I pay upfront?

A: While you are welcome to pay the total upon booking, I only require a 50% non-refundable deposit to put your name in the book. The balance is to be paid in full before the completed work is shipped.

Note: I can only use a photo from a professional photographer if you own the rights to reproduce the photo, or if I receive their written permission.
